Birthday Note Paintables: 1st in the series

 Hello Crafters!

Today we are doing something a bit different . . .

Between my blog and my Youtube channel I've read several comments from fellow crafters that make me a little sad.
These comments often start with "I could never" "I can't" or "I wish"

Can I tell you a secret?
You can.
No wishing about it.

Today I'm going to share a video with you showing how to make something your own, no special coloring skills needed.
There will be three videos in the series and eventually we will get to a card that looks like this.

We are going to go step by step. You stop at any point in which you are happy with it.
It is not a requirement that yours look like mine.
In fact, by the time it's done yours should look like yours. ;)

My apologies for not stopping and taking still photos of each level but it's my first series. I'm looking for a little grace ;)
I'll be better next time. If there is a next time.
When we're all done with the series you can tell me.

I do hope that you learned a little something about how simple isn't plain or ugly or less. Just different. And I really hope I'll see you tomorrow ;)

Thanks for dropping by!

Supplies: *The supplies listed are for the completed card. It just seemed easier.*

  1. I love this, Kelly! I have but a handful of Copics (yep...made the mistake of buying a set ages ago and they've been used...maybe once. Epic failures!...sigh!), so seeing you how you work with the families here is giving me plenty of ideas! Thank you...intrigued to see what you dazzle us with next...
