Runway Inspired

 Hey crafters!

I wanted to pop in real quick and share a card I made for the current Runway Inspired Challenge. It seems like for-EVER since I played along over there!

I don't know about the rest of you but I've been taking the online card class Clean and Simple 2 and I'm loving it :) I mean with Jennifer Mcguire, Kristina Werner, and Julie Ebersole as teachers how could I not. :) The other day they were covering one layer cards, which again I love <3 so here we go

Inspiration

+ one layer =

This card is actually much softer in real life but it photographs how it photographs. I'm sure you can sympathize :)

First I cut a mask for the outside border. Next I cut several masks using different sized circles (the smallest is actually a hole punch lol) then used those to rub on some different colors of distress ink.

I used chipped sapphire, tumbled glass, dried marigold, shabby shutters, and shaded lilac. After I colored all my circles I removed the border mask and scored a second border. I picked that up from the background in the photo. I stamped the greeting then dotted on my stardust stickles for some shine. Again you can barely see this in the photo but whatever :)

Thanks for stopping in, I'll be back shortly (very shortly) with my project for the new A Blog Named Hero challenge. See you then :)
